Romantic Inspiration in Puerto Rico
Words by Courtney KellarPhotos courtesy of LH Photography
What bride doesn’t love wedding inspiration with a romantic, vintage vibe? Throw in an exotic and interesting setting and there’s no denying the gorgeousness. When Ly Sué Hernández told us she had always dreamed of doing a destination wedding-inspired photo shoot in her native Puerto Rico, and finally made that dream a reality, we couldn’t help but say “yes” to sharing it with all of Destination I Do’s readers. After all, the reason most couples opt for a destination wedding is much the same: a love for a location which is cemented itself in their hearts.
Ly Sué, of LH Photography, along with a group of fabulous vendors created the photo shoot she had always invisioned at The Gallery Inn in Old San Juan, Puerto Rico. The idea was to highlight the historic venue by creating contrasting, classic wedding details. The sweetheart’s table set-up is the perfect example with a blending of old and new elements. For example, the antique table was combined with modern lucite chairs and the streamlined dinnerware was paired with vintage glassware.
Please see below for a full list of the talented vendors who helped put this shoot together. For some gorgeous inspiration and the information on each of the stunning gowns seen above, click "more photos." Thanks again to this talented group for sharing this shoot with DID!
