Have you ever thought about a beach wedding during the winter? It sounds crazy, but a beach wedding with snowy weather offers a rare beauty and would definitely give your destination wedding a unique spin on the traditional. More specifically, Cape Cod is a quintessential East Coast location, but is often only considered for holiday during the summer months. In order to encourage guests to seek out this historic spot in the winter, the Sea Crest Beach Hotel recently unveiled their Winter Wedding Package. The package is available now through April 2014 and November 2014 through April 2015.



The Sea Crest Beach Hotel overlooks Old Silver Beach on Buzzard’s Bay and recently underwent a mutil-million dollar renovation. Offer your guests gorgeous ocean views, Cape-inspired cuisine and comfy accommodations. If you’re considering the Winter Wedding Package for your destination wedding there are two reception options: a three-course plated dinner reception which starts at $89 a person, or a stationed dinner reception which starts at $99 per person. Both options in clued a passed hors d’oeuvres cocktail reception. Some of the property’s more popular menu items include things like maple-glazed scallops wrapped in smoked bacon, blackened East Coast salmon with charred tomato chutney and thyme and shallot-marinated sirloin steak with mushroom jus and Great Hill blue cheese.
All weddings held between the dates mentioned above and opting for the Winter Wedding Package will receive:
· Reduced venue rental
· On-property ceremony fee included
· Personal assistance from a professional wedding coordinator
· Complimentary deluxe wedding night accommodations for the bride and groom
· Two additional complimentary deluxe wedding night accommodations
· Dedicated bridal party gathering room and storage with Champagne toast for wedding party
· Garden white chairs for ceremony
· Floor-length linens with overlays
· China, glass, and flatware
· Dance floor
· Access to preferred vendor list
· Discount on overnight accommodations for out-of-town guests
· Discounts on room rental for rehearsal dinner, bridal shower and/or farewell brunch
· Scenic backdrop for wedding photography
A winter wedding at Sea Crest Beach Hotel would most likely be a more formal affair and take place in the venue’s recently renovated Sea Crest Ballroom. Want something more casual?
