The Montage in Maui

Hawaii is one of the most popular destination wedding locations in America for a reason – awe-inspiring scenery and the perfect mix of adventure and relaxation.
When it comes time to decide exactly where to say “I do” in this tropical paradise, the Montage Kapalua Bay in Maui should be on your short-list of contenders.
The all-suite property is perfectly suited for large groups and families, with two and three-bedroom suites. Formerly the Ritz-Carlton Residences, Montage Kapalua Bay’s rooms feature high-ceilings, full kitchens and expansive lanais. Originally designed for long-term stays, families will enjoy bonuses like large walk-in closets and a washer and dryer in every unit.
Kapalua Bay Beach is a short walk and a great spot for snorkeling. After swimming with the fishes, swing by the Sunset Patio for delicious mahi mahi tacos. Also, be sure to enjoy at least one romantic dinner at Montage’s Cane & Canoe Restaurant. Executive Chef Riko Bartolome uses fresh, local ingredients to create playful, Hawaiian spins on culinary classics.
For your wedding festivities, the Montage has endless options across its 22,000 acres. We recommend hosting an intimate rehearsal dinner in the Kapalua Cliff House which has 180-degree views of Namalu Bay. For your ceremony, exchange vows on The Point with the island of Molokai in the distance, and a tented reception on the Pacific Lawn provides all the space you’ll need. The Montage Kapalua Bay is truly accommodating in exercising your destination wedding wishes.
Between the two renowned Kapalua Bay golf courses across the street and the Montage Spa’s extensive fitness class schedule (think oceanfront yoga), everyone on your guest list will leave self-improved and satisfied. Say a final “mahalo” to your loved ones and host a farewell soireé on the gorgeous outdoor patio at nearby Merriman’s restaurant. Hosting your destination wedding at Montage Kapalua Bay will allow your guests to do as much, or as little, as they like…true to the Hawaiian spirit.
Before & After
If you or your guests are traveling a great distance to reach Maui and the Montage Kapalua Bay, we recommend a stay at the Montage Beverly Hills en-route. Not only will this break-up your travel, but you’ll enjoy high-end glamour in another beautiful destination.
