Natalie and Bryan first met on a dating app. A few dates later, it was evident their love for each other was undeniable. As their bond grew stronger, the two became inseparable and decided to make their relationship permanent.

A few short years later, the couple got engaged while vacationing in Maui. The island held a very special place in their hearts.

“I always dreamed of having a Maui wedding,” Natalie says. “I wanted to make sure our wedding included elements of our relationship and made everyone who attended feel the love we had for each other.”

While in Maui, Natalie remembered passing a lovely plantation that captured the beauty of the island during a scuba diving trip. Keeping the property in the back of her mind, the couple decided to host their wedding there.

“Olowalu Plantation house was the perfect venue for us because you were able to be right on the water without having to be in the sand. There is so much natural beauty in Maui and I wanted our wedding to highlight the naturalness,” the bride says.

While choosing the destination was effortless, the nationwide pandemic put a damper on the couple’s wedding plans.

“As with so many other weddings we had to postpone due to COVID, so February 27th was actually our 4th wedding date,” the couple says.

The couple agreed that Maui was worth the wait and that anywhere else wouldn’t have been as special.

When it came to planning the details of the wedding, the couple wanted to keep the natural look. By doing so, they chose white, blush pink and green elements with gold accents. The colors took the shape of bouquets, table set-ups, bridesmaids’ dresses and the lovely altar that hugged the couple as they exchanged vows.

“I loved how airy these colors made our wedding,” Natalie says.

Reception tables were decorated with leafy green runners, spotted with elegant pink flowers and cream-colored candles. Glassware with gold silverware was placed at every seat. String lights illuminated the tent from every corner.

Incorporating a personal touch to the menu, Natalie and Bryan crafted tropical, fruity signature cocktails to serve guests. A pineapple old-fashioned (Bryan), passionfruit Aperol spritz (Natalie) and a salty dog (their dog Dasher).

“From the moment I woke up, to whales breaching during our vows, to partying with all of our family and friends, it was the best day of my life and one I wish I could relive everyday,” Natalie says.

While it wasn’t always easy to plan, it couldn’t have been a more perfect evening. The couple was thrilled to share their little slice of heaven with friends and family.
