Wedding Dress Trends of 2020
Words by AnomaliePhotos courtesy of Anomalie Curious to know the dress trends of 2020 so far? So were we! We asked the stylists at Anomalie who are on the front lines of the bridal gown design world what they observed to be popular. Find out what they had to say below:
70's VIBES
"A lot of my brides are looking for a way to create something really unique and non-traditional. With this bride we played with some 70's touches with an exaggerated bell sleeve, piping along the edge of her cut-outs and a double-slit -- definitely a one-of-a-kind of dress!"

BLACK
"Black has always been a fashion staple, but we're seeing it show up in bridal more and more! Halloween falls on a Saturday this year, and perhaps that's what's prompting a surge in requests for black fabrics and lace options. I love the chic gothi appeal with this atypical approach!"
- Miranda Katchur, Anomalie Stylist

TIERS:
"Tiers continue to be a trend, whether it is incorporated in a Hi-Lo skirt, relaxed A-line silhouette, or Ballgown! I love the playful touch it adds to a dress. Multiple fabrics can be used to create this whimsical look like in bride Wendy Yeung's dress"
- Megan Riesner, Anomalie Stylist
