With a décor that combines Mexican, Mayan and Spanish influences, the new Club Med Cancun Yucatan’s Jade luxury resort is a beautiful gem surrounded by turquoise seas, stunning white beaches, private infinity pools, exclusive cabana relaxation areas and first-class amenities.
Add thrilling on-site activities such as sailing, wakeboarding and snorkeling, a young, friendly and energetic staff and great food, and you have a recipe for an amazing experience.
Jade, the newly renovated space is a “resort within a resort” and redefines all-inclusive luxury. The resort designer, Marc Hertrich describes the property as "an extraordinary creative adventure, in a country of unexpected aesthetic richness, both in terms of its past and what it produces today. A fabulous site, far away from the bustle of the city, where Spanish, Mayan and Mexican influences come together between the mangroves and the turquoise sea. The atmosphere is mysterious, festive and magical."
The concierge and staff do a fantastic job to make you feel welcome and comfortable giving a friendly “hola” every time you walk by. It does not take long before that wonderful vacation feeling sinks in.
Start your day in paradise with a relaxing breakfast in bed and then step out on to your expansive wooden balcony, inhale the tranquil humid air and draw in the spectacular views of the Caribbean ocean. Now that you’re rested and fed, take in some snorkeling with the exotic tropical fish and private reef just steps from the beach. Before lunch, head back and enjoy a Piña Colada by the first-class infinity pool to contemplate what to eat for lunch.
The lunch buffet at La Hacienda is spectacular. From fresh sushi, lobster, and shrimp to traditional Mexican cuisine and kid’s favorites such as pizza and pasta, the chefs compete to create the most amazing dishes. The selection is impressive and the quality of the food is excellent.
What to do after lunch? One of the more unique things about Club Med is the abundance of activities a guest can participate in. There is a main program with daily activities such as cooking classes, tennis tournaments, water aerobics, beach volleyball and windsurfing regattas, to name a few.
After a day filled with fun activities, sore muscles can be restored at the Club Med Spa which offers a range of relaxing and therapeutic treatments.
Now that you’ve again worked up an appetite, hop on over to Las Cazuelas restaurant for a romantic dinner with unrestricted ocean views. After a satisfying meal move outside to the annex bar, La Chispa and enjoy a drink and the sunset.
From dawn till dusk, from wedding day to honeymoon, your luxury escape to Club Med’s Jade will be as idyllic as you dreamed it could be.
