Summer 2017

Spring has sprung and the sizzling excitement of summer is growing. The cover features a shot from a photoshoot that first ran on our blog. For this shoot, the talented vendor team was inspired by the romantic feel of Old San Juan, Puerto Rico. Shot on location in the city’s Colonial District, the bride’s sheer, lace dress by Backgarden is right on-trend. Classic romance is given a modern update with an oversized floral lei by Lorraine’s Flowers. Her elegant hair and makeup, courtesy of Color Touch by Ana, is elevated with a striking headpiece by Eva Guadalupe. The Summer 2017 issue contains the same content as our Spring 2017 issue, but with a fresh, season-specific cover by Vanessa Velez Photography.

Spring 2017

If you’re reading this or picking up a copy of Destination I Do magazine, then you’re lucky – you have something worth celebrating. It could be an impending destination wedding, designing your dream honeymoon or just planning the perfect romantic getaway with your sweetheart. Our editors and contributing writers traveled to over 35 destinations the world-over to bring you the latest and greatest wedding or honeymoon escapes. Our Spring 2017 cover features a shot from the Fashion Forward feature, “Modern Meets Tropical: A Marriage Made in Malibu.” Our bride and her sunny California setting are a match made in photoshoot heaven. She’s ready for “I do” in the “Kimberly Long” dress by Joanna August, “Margot” veil by Elisha Caplan and “Fringed Crescent Earrings” by Noonday Collection. Her updo and ethereal makeup is by Mobile Bridal Salon. Her W-Day look is complete with a minimalistic, tropical bouquet by Flower Duet. The talented Sanaz Photography took the image.

Winter 2017

Whether you’re recently engaged, researching honeymoon locations or looking to rekindle the flame of love with a romantic trip, Destination I Do’s Winter 2017 issue might just be an indispensible resource. Our roving editors and contributing writers set foot on four continents to create well-rounded recommendations. Unlike anywhere else in the U.S., Hawaii grants you a true taste of the tropics. It brings forth mental images of crashing waves, tall swaying palms, velvety green mountains, stunning sunsets and rainbows streaking across the sky. A group of extremely talented vendors took inspiration from the island to create this photo shoot for us and, not surprisingly, one of the images was chosen to grace our winter cover. Our bride is ready for her close-up with a dramatic haku floral crown by Jackson Durham, beachy waves by Vera Joyce Hair Studio and glowing makup by Ry-n Shimabuku. She's wearing the "Asha" silk tank by Wtoo by Watters & Watters.

Fall 2016

We’re also exploring alternative options for the betrothed or long-time lovers. Our Fall 2016 cover features one of our Real-Life Wedding brides. She and her dapper groom said “I do” with a destination wedding on the shores of Big Sur. Our bride is lovely and on-trend with a keyhole-back gown from Stardust Celebrations, minimalist floral crown and blooming bouquet both by Natalie Bowen Designs. Event planning and design by Alison Events Planning + Design. The talented Feather & Twine Photography captured this beautiful photo and sentimental moment.
