Arizona Desert Wedding Inspiration
Words by Catherine HurtPhotos courtesy of Catherine Hurt Photography
When Lauren Fair and Rachael Ellen got together to conceptualize this styled shoot, they set their hearts on an "Old World Meets Europe" theme. Lauren Fair is a destination film photographer and photographs weddings in Europe frequently, so her main goal of this editorial was to bring a little bit of Europe to the United States.

Held at the DC Country Club in Scottsdale, Arizona, the team set up in and around an open building with cream walls, old tiled floors, and a desert filled with cacti in the back. Basically, it was the Arizona version of Europe!
Covered with pieces of jewels and soft tulle, the bridal gown designed by BHLDN looked like it belonged in a fairytale. Liliya's hair was pulled back to reveal her stunning face and soften the look even more, while Albert's white tux was the perfect finishing touch.
