High in the Colorado Rockies on Beaver Creek Mountain, The Ritz-Carlton, Bachelor Gulch is a wedding destination that exudes alpine charm combined with rustic elegance. This award-winning, luxury resort was purposely designed in the style of the grand lodges of the American West with majestic stone fireplaces, high beamed ceilings and wrought iron chandeliers. From the moment you are warmly greeted by the valets in Western garb and the wagging tail of the resident St. Bernard, you know you have arrived somewhere very special.

Breathtaking mountain views from each of the cozy, but well-appointed 180 guest accommodations beg you to snuggle in and relax. But, the outdoor calls in every season with a multitude of activities just outside your door. During the winter this ski-in, ski-out property invites you to hit the slopes and in the warm weather months you can easily access the Red Sky Golf Club, home to some of Colorado’s highest-rated golf courses, or hiking and biking trails galore.

When you are ready to experience a bit of pampering, the Forbes Four-Star rated Bachelor Gulch Spa is ready to indulge you. For a truly unique experience, head to the rock-lined grottos where you can lie back, bask in the warmth and listen to the soothing sound of the indoor waterfall.

A satisfied palate awaits you whether you are huddled around the outdoor fire pit sharing s’mores with your wedding guests or kicking back with a cocktail or cigar in the unique Bachelors Lounge. There are plenty of dining options on-site or the charming village of Beaver Creek is just a shuttle ride away.

The most difficult part of planning your destination wedding at The Ritz-Carlton, Bachelor Gulch may be choosing between the many options available for your ceremony and reception. You may select the Smith Terrace with panoramic views of Vail Valley for an intimate ceremony or, for weddings of up to 350 guests, the Mountainside Terrace with a backdrop of the White River National Forest. If your dream is to walk down the aisle in a quaint, picturesque chapel, the Beaver Creek Chapel is an excellent option. Tented lawns or the elegant Ritz-Carlton Ballroom can also host larger weddings.

Bachelor Gulch is rich in history and one of the hotel’s newest additions is Anderson’s Cabin. John Anderson was one of seven bachelors who settled the area in the early 1900s and his rustic and cozy cabin is now available for intimate gatherings (12 guests in the winter and up to 50 guests in the warmer months).

Nestled high in the mountains, surrounded by aspens and pines, this mountaintop resort won’t disappoint – whatever season you choose to say “I do.” It is Rocky Mountain luxury at its finest.
