We have a confession to make……we’re in love with Aspen, Colorado. On our recent trip to the beloved mountain town, we enjoyed the stunning fall colors of the aspen trees but truthfully, Aspen is amazing whatever time of year you choose to visit. Enjoy world-class skiing and snowboarding in the winter and hiking, mountain biking, fly fishing, white water rafting and rock climbing in the warmer temperatures. Aspen is known for its vibrant local cultural scene and a cocktail of exciting eateries whatever the season. Visiting the John Denver Sanctuary is another “must” when in Aspen. Strolling through the forest and along the Twin Forks River gave us a glimpse of what he meant by a Rocky Mountain “high.”
