Imagine hosting your dream Southern destination wedding on a 200 year-old plantation along the Mississippi River, just 20 miles from downtown New Orleans. Stella Plantation is set on 1500 acres of picturesque landscape just minutes from the hustle and bustle of New Orleans. With various venue spaces, all unique to each other, Stella Plantation is a stand-out and is the ideal location for a Southern event of any size or fashion.
Experience everything Stella has to offer. Host your event in any of our four venue spaces. Oak Row, our outdoor venue, is made up of 250-year-old live oak trees perfectly aligned with the Main House on one side and another beautiful row of younger oaks on the other. Our Harold Pavilion is our permanent tented structure with color treated concrete floors, removable side panels and is climate controlled. The Carriage House has an air brick structure that is perfect for a covered ceremony, small reception or rehearsal dinner, private first look location, welcome cocktails and more. The Sugar Cane Stable stands out with exterior wood and two stunning window-lined wings with an interior including brick walls, custom cypress farm tables, iron chandeliers and copper lanterns. All of Stella’s venue options give a blank canvas for your vision to come to life.
Stella is not only a venue, but a destination. Extend your stay at Stella by staying in any of the lodging options. The Main House has three suites, two bedrooms, 5.5 bathrooms and plenty of entertainment, including a copper bar and six flat screen TVs. The Guest House has a king-size bed suite and 2.5 bathrooms with plenty of room for dining and relaxing. On the other side of our property, explore our A-frame glamping cabins that sit on our 53-acre lake!
