We kick off Destination: Cayman Islands week announcing the island’s first and only print and online magazine focused on destination weddings in the Cayman Islands, Cayman Vows.

This stunning magazine is sold throughout the U.S. and Canada, as well as on their website. It is not only a needed, helpful resource, but brimming with imagination for couples considering the Caymans as the backdrop to their special day.

In collaboration with the Cayman Islands Department of Tourism and many other local businesses, each page is teeming with guidance, beauty and brilliance to show what a destination wedding in this unparalleled Caribbean locale can look like.

Founder and Editor in Chief, Angela Desveaux, started the magazine after she fell in love with the destination. “Seven years ago, I stepped off an airplane in Grand Cayman for the very first time to attend a conference. I will always remember the visit because that’s when my love affair with the Cayman Islands began. Before that trip, I’d been to many other sun-filled Caribbean islands, but had never ‘fallen in love,’ so-to-speak.”

Desveaux recalls, “Over three days and nights, I packed copious amounts of fun, dining (it IS the food capital of the Caribbean, after all), fancy cocktails, dancing, exploring, relaxing, sunbathing, swimming in turquoise water, star-gazing and adventuring into that visit. I was hooked…”

Angela Desveaux is also the publisher and owner of one of my favorite Canadian magazines on the market – WedLuxe. Considering what an inspiration that magazine is, it comes as no surprise Cayman Vows is so well executed from the very beginning.
