They say opposites attract, but how do you marry your partner’s affection for wildlife and the wonders of nature with your love of luxury? If youre dreaming of a honeymoon with gourmet dining and star gazing in a jacuzzi on the sundeck of a yacht while your beloved is imagining splashing with sea lions in the Galápagos we have a beguiling idea to consider. Explore the Galápagos Islands aboard one of Ecoventura‘s expedition yachts, Evolve, Origin, or Theory. The small group elite experience (ten staterooms) is an intimate way to navigate the protected archipelago that will etch indelible memories of your honeymoon and provide breathtaking images for your Instagram stories and photo walls.

Getting to the Galápagos, located about 600 miles off the coast of Ecuador, is seamless as the Ecoventura team handles a myriad of details to deliver you to San Cristobal for a seven-day adventure to see beaches and bays or volcanic wonders, or both if you fancy a 14-day trip. Moments spent snorkeling with Galápagos penguins and sea turtles and watching the blue-footed booby dance are what make the UNESCO World Heritage Site such a special honeymoon destination.

While Ecoventura’s size already offers the best naturalist guide to passenger ratio in the region, honeymooners looking to take it to another level can book a suite; double the space with a separate living room and separate bathrooms, a private zodiac ride at sunset and other perks such as complimentary laundry service, premium beverages, and more,” says Doris Welsh, Director of Sales & Marketing, Ecoventura.

The otherwordly experience includes sightings of wildlife and nature that you cant see or experience anywhere else on the planet. Our naturalists navigated the enchanted islands of San Cristobal, Española, Floreana, Santa Cruz, and Bartolome Island where we witnessed the wonders of nature. Highlights included seeing four Galápagos penguins pose on volcanic rocks, watching gigantic tortoises munch on mounds of grass, and enjoying frigate birds inflate red pouches to attract mates (like Tinder profiles in the wild). The most jaw-dropping spectacle was seeing a fleet of dolphins being chased by a pair of cresting orcas. The crew even managed to magically manifest a giant rainbow post-zodiac spin to a beach littered with frolicking sealions and sunbathing iguanas.

Gazing at this pristine world from the wide windows of your stateroom and being greeted by a smiling sea lion or locking eyes with a swimming sea turtle is sheer bliss. It feels sublimely surreal getting spoiled in the unspoiled world of the Galápagos, a magic act that could only be pulled off by joining the sole vessel in Galápagos in the Relais & Châteaux collection with the heart of Mother Nature.
