LGBTQIA+ couples looking to tie the knot
It’s June, which means it’s Pride Month! Ahead of the festivities, reaching out to share information on La Venta Inn, one of Southern California’s most beautiful and inclusive seaside venues that’s perfect for LGBTQIA+ couples looking to tie the knot in tranquility!

Since reopening the historic property in late 2021 following a complete refresh, operator and exclusive caterer, Meg Walker of MBM Catering has been committed to creating a space that makes LGBTQ+ couples feel safe and celebrated. In addition to a diverse list of LGBTQ+ supportive preferred vendors (see bottom of post) and gender-neutral getting-ready spaces, La Venta Inn offers the following amenities:

  • Over 4,500 sq. ft. of event space, accommodating weddings of up to 220 guests
  • Ceremony space on the great lawn, overlooking the Pacific Ocean
  • Enchanting courtyard for cocktail hour
  • Main ballroom with working fireplace and brand new, in-house sound system
  • Two ballroom-adjacent dining rooms with sweeping ocean views
  • New round or Tuscan tables with stylish wooden chairs
  • Perfectly manicured gardens throughout the property
  • Gourmet, seasonally driven and locally sourced menu options exclusively from Made by Meg catering

Additionally, in celebration of Pride Month, Meg shared with us a few of La Venta Inn’s preferred LGBTQ+ vendors! See below:
