Living jewelry, delicate leather details, soft golden light and foraged floral bouquets amidst meandering cherry groves, olive trees and poppy fields can only elicit a feeling of freedom and romance. And what better place to put all of these elements together than Croatia? 

Stationer, art director and stylist, Kristy Rice of Momental Designs, decided to chart her own course to a small town about four hours outside of Dubrovnik for this Fashion Forward photo shoot. What resulted was pure magic. Beautiful and interesting details culminated in a stunning destination. 

1: On the shores of Polača village, our bride is fabulous in a Carol Hannah gown accented by a leather fringe necklace and a hand-tied bouquet by Floranita. Our groom is dapper in his JL Style suit. Hair and makeup also by JL Style.

2 & 3: “Invites were crafted on walnut wood veneer and luxe cottony letterpress stock,” says Kristy Rice, and “a cigar box save-the-date featured the likeness of a traditional Croatian window.” Stationery by Momental Designs and calligraphy by Flourish & Grace Calligraphy.

4 & 5: The bride’s Carol Hannah gown, leather fringe necklace and perfectly coiffed hair and makeup by JL Style is only enhanced by the living floral ring on her left hand (created by Floranita) and Sara Tiara fascinator adorned with a hand-painted leaf by Momental Designs.
