In the French countryside, Château des Creusettes stands as a symbol of timeless romance and opulence. This magnificent venue became the enchanting setting for a styled wedding shoot that married the elegance of fine art with the charm of a fairytale-like love. Brought to life by a team of passionate creatives, the shoot celebrated luxury, sophistication, and the magic that only a historic French château can evoke.

The Genesis of the Shoot

The inspiration for this shoot was born out of a natural collaboration among a group of like-minded vendors who regularly work together to create breathtaking events. “We’re a team of service providers—designer florists, a wedding planner and designer, and a luxury fine art photographer—who love working together,” shared Yangly, the visionary photographer behind the lens. “The idea for the shoot came naturally over coffee.”

The choice of Château des Creusettes as the venue was a deliberate one. The team had fallen in love with the château long before the shoot was planned, and its opulent architecture and romantic atmosphere heavily influenced the overall theme. “The fairy-tale aspect is typically inspired by the place,” Yangly explained. The château’s grandeur provided the perfect setting for a shoot that exuded luxury and sophistication.

Reception to Remember

The reception setup was a masterclass in vintage chic elegance. A large table, set for 16, became the focal point of the design. The team opted for a striking “toile de jouy” table runner in a vintage-chic blue, which added a surprising touch of whimsy with its wallpaper-like appearance. This was paired with colorful floral arrangements that brought the table to life, complemented by transparent candleholders that added a soft, romantic glow.

The choice of tableware was equally thoughtful. Crystal glasses and gilded cutlery were selected to elevate the dining experience, adding a layer of sophistication that was in perfect harmony with the château’s luxurious setting. Every detail was carefully considered, creating a reception look that was both timeless and contemporary.

A Seamless Collaboration

The success of the shoot was largely due to the harmonious collaboration between the vendors. “We chose service providers who matched our style, our way of seeing things, and our values,” Yangly noted. The team worked together professionally, but the atmosphere was always friendly and filled with good humor. This camaraderie was evident in the final product—a shoot that was as enjoyable to create as it was to admire.

Photographer’s Delight

For Yangly, every moment of the shoot was a joy, but the room where the reception table was set held a special place in their heart. “Perhaps we could say that the room where the table was set was the centerpiece of the shoot,” Yangly reflected. The château’s beauty provided endless opportunities for stunning shots, but the meticulous attention to detail in the reception room made it a standout.
