Planned by Amanda of AMV Weddings & AMV Retreats as part of an immersive photography retreat in Marrakech, Morocco, a first-class team of creatives from all over the globe worked together to create this swoon-worthy elopement affair at Agafay Luxury Camp.

This editorial was inspired by the one-of-a-kind hues of a sunset in the Moroccan desert. The tranquil and picturesque scenery of the Agafay Desert provided the perfect setting for a design that complimented the natural tones of the scene while also featuring bursts of citrus colors from the ceremony florals set in the heart of the serene landscape to the tablescape set up poolside amidst the desert camp.

The ceremony was designed with a floor-based arch and weaving aisle featuring rich, lush florals by The Bloom Room with an organic style enhancing the already stunning backdrop of rolling sand dunes as far as the eye could see. The tablescape incorporated a combination of hearty florals and an abundance of lanterns which provided the most romantic ambiance as the sun began to set on the horizon and candlelight dominated the space.

A wedding setup in a desert includes floral arrangements with yellow and white flowers lining the sandy path to the ceremony area with rows of yellow chairs. Nearby, a long outdoor dining table is set with ornate white chairs and tents visible in the background. A collage features a beautifully set table with floral centerpieces and gold accents on a white tablecloth, a close-up of a vibrant flower arrangement, and a distant view of a camel in a desert landscape.

The bride wore a chic whimsical gown by Anna Kara and the groom wore a tan linen suit by Brigdens, a relaxed yet understated look perfect for an intimate elopement.

To weave some elements of the beauty of Morocco into this affair, the couple enjoyed a portrait session with a desert camel and enjoyed the perfect ending to the night dancing to a traditional Dakka Marrakchia band.
