Do you hear that? It’s the City of Love calling you to say “I do”! If you’ve always harbored dreams of tying the knot in Paris, France – this styled elopement just might be the inspiration you need to take the leap! Get all the deets below:

The Epic Venue

The Ritz Paris is one of the most exclusive hotels in all of Europe, and the pinnacle of French Luxury. The Grand Jardin and terraces are unique in Paris. This suite chosen for getting ready photos overlooks the garden and is decorated in shades of blue, neutrals, white, and gold – the iconic Ritz color palette. The details featured herein on the invitation suite and welcome gifts are drawn from this inspiration, intending to be an extension of the room’s decor itself from the walls to the upholstery ensuite.

The Couple’s Style

The gown our bride is wearing is by designer Dylan Parienty Paris. The “Megane” dress is a voluminous couture gown designed with several layers of pleated ivory tulle, cut in a circle shape for the skirt, a pleated tulle draped V neck top and a sun-pleated cape from tulle in the V back.

The Elegant Details

The cake was inspired by the delicate textures and embroidery that one might find on a beautiful bespoke gown. Using subtle but interesting detail to create depth and dimension, which births an air of romance.

The Creators

Janna Brown, the planner, designer, and florist says of this styled shoot:

“Our bride and groom were enveloped in luxury in a sprawling suite in the Ritz Paris that was brimming with lush florals, champagne, a feast of macaroons, and Parisian charm at every turn. She stunned in a cascading layered Dylan Parienty gown, and he was the epitome of dapper in his tailored Bencivenga Alta Sortoria tuxedo.

After a series of portraits on the balcony and upper terrace of the Ritz Paris, we ventured into the city for iconic imagery near the Louvre and Petit Palais before capturing the golden hour and sunset on Pont Alexandre III.”

“My favorite part of the shoot was the magical sunset over the Seine,” says the photographer, Theresa Kelly. “As the light got lower and my camera tried to keep up with the fading light, movement of the bride and groom became more blurry – rendering an already iconic scene to moments like an impressionist’s paintings. The perfect nod to the richness of art and culture of Paris.”
