Grasse, France is a town that’s well-known for its perfume industry, but it’s also home to one of the most beautiful chateaus in the region, Chateau Saint Georges.
Recently the iconic chateau played host to a group of talented wedding professionals for an editorial wedding shoot. Thanks to the insight from one photographer, Marissa Belle, we are sharing a glimpse into the thought behind some of the stunning elements of the shoot.
Organized and designed by AMV Weddings, this workshop-styled shoot took inspiration from the beauty and intricacy of its historic setting, Chateau Saint Georges. The French Riviera also influenced the overall style and feel.
For the ceremony look, the bride wore a beautiful puff-sleeved gown and had her hair styled in long, romantic waves. These elements helped create a girly, romantic feel – a perfect pairing with the backdrop of the rolling hills of Grasse. The reception scene offered equally impressive details, creating a cohesive look characterized by timeless elegance and pops of gold.
“The pastel hues perfectly complimented the detailed interior of the Chateau, also known as the little ‘Palace of Versailles,’” Marissa says.
From the perfectly placed florals to the tiny decorative elements, every aspect of this styled shoot was carefully thought out and executed.
“The fluffy florals and perfectly planned tiny details were my favorite parts, of many,” Marissa says.
Overall, the styled shoot at Chateau Saint Georges is truly inspiring, especially for couples looking to wed along the French Riveria.
