When we first set eyes on this styled wedding shoot from Italy, our jaws dropped. With the popularity of Bridgerton on Netflix right now, the shoot is no doubt timely. The talented team of vendors went above and beyond to deliver an inspiration worthy of every future bride’s Pinterest board! Photographer, Silvia Falcomer, gave us the inside scoop for the shoot. “Olivia and Thomas’s baroque-styled wedding shoot was set between the Prosecco Hills of Conegliano and Valdobbiadene, in the north-east of Italy, not far from Venice. The landscape is characterized by the hilly ridges, small terraced vineyards, forests, villages and crops, which was recently recognized by Unesco as a World Heritage Site.

The couple stayed at Villa Morona de Gastaldis in Valdobbiadene, an elegant 17th century Venetian Villa, the subject of a recent, meticulous restoration. The wedding ceremony itself took place in the small church inside the property.

The bride and groom’s dresses were high fashion creations made in Italy. The bride’s dress, in fine lace in shades of green and bronze, is a creation of the designer Elisabetta Delogu who creates exclusively unique pieces. The groom wore a limited edition Italian silk brocade in shades of gold, signed by Cleofe Finati. For dinner, the couple opted for a change of outfits – two more enchanting pieces by the same designers. 

The bridal bouquet, banquet table, sweet table and wedding cake all adorned flowers handpicked by florist Elisa of Anneris Flower Farm. The arrangements contained a mix of unconventional, strictly organic flowers that Elisa grew herself including amnis, eryngiums, roses, hydrangeas, dahlias and yarrows for a luxurious color palette with shades of white and green. Bunches of grapes and pomegranates coupled with transparent, gold-rimmed wine glasses completed the tablescape design.

Papermedia‘s luxurious wedding stationery carried the color palette throughout the event, from the welcome tickets in the guest rooms to the menus and table cards. 

After the ceremony, guests were led to the tasting room of the most evocative cellar-museums in the world at Ristorante Da Gigetto in Miane. With its 1500 labels and 36,000 bottles, it is one of the temples of wine most famous and well supplied in Europe. 

The day concluded with a breathtaking view of the belvedere at sunset, a perfect setting for a series of unforgettable shots.”
