We were lucky enough to catch up with the talented planner, Amanda with AMV Weddings, and photographer, Diana Coulter behind this editorial to get their first-hand account of how it all came together!

“An enchanting escape from the vibrant city, Palais Namaskar is a sprawling property adorned with luxurious private palaces and villas amidst the tranquil Palmeraie oasis. This location provided the perfect setting to design a wedding where classic European charm danced harmoniously with Moroccan grandeur. From the opulent venue to the tabletop design, this editorial is all about embracing the timeless elegance and exotic allure of Morocco while adding a modern twist for a touch of sophistication.”

“Our vision for this editorial was to blend the ethereal beauty of a European aesthetic with the rich tapestry of Moroccan culture, resulting in a visual symphony of luxury and romance. The palette was carefully curated with a delicate balance of soft pinks, delicate purples, and pops of richer berry tones.”

“Set within the venue’s majestic surroundings, an intimate ceremony took place in the heart of the Palais courtyard with beautiful sprawling arches highlighting the marble path leading up to the altar. Lush floral urns completed the altar space with the iconic wooden doors of the Palais nestled in the backdrop.”

“The poolside garden at Palais Namaskar hosted a charming tablescape, where the hues of the florals and lanterns enhanced the tranquil atmosphere. Adorned with delicate lace linens and exquisite handmade tableware crafted by a local Moroccan artisan, each table was a vision of elegance. Every aspect of the event, from the elaborate floral arrangements to the cake embellished with sugar flowers, was carefully coordinated. The warm glow of hand-painted Moroccan plates and decorative lanterns added a touch of coziness, perfectly complementing the Moorish architecture.”

“Globally inspired, OUMA’s traversal collection is all about worldly travels and wanderlust energy. The bride wore the Sienna gown from the OUMA Couture 2024 Traversal Collection, a statement ball gown with a sweetheart strapless bodice, puffed sleeves and balloon skirt. Layers of tulle and organza flow out into a dramatic train, completing this whimsical yet luxurious look. With their signature textured fabrics, they’ve created a one-of-a-kind piece that combines rich, organic textures with billowing drapery to compliment their surroundings. Palais Nakaskar, while rich in texture and muted in color, allows the dress to take center stage with its’ dramatic train and puff sleeves.”
