In the heart of Baja California Sur, a breathtaking oasis, a team of talented wedding professionals came together to create a styled shoot that transcended the ordinary. Amelia, the creative mind behind Carat Weddings, envisioned a vibrant and colorful celebration that would showcase the beauty of the new space at Santa Terra. This dream became a reality through collaboration with top-notch vendors, each contributing their expertise to bring the Citric Summer Styled Shoot to life.

The idea for this styled shoot began with Amelia from Carat Weddings, who fell in love with the Santa Terra grounds. Excitement sparked when she reached out to Fabi Rosas, a renowned wedding photographer, to discuss her vision. Amelia then gathered a dream team, including Inventive Cabo and Designer 23, to bring the concept to fruition. The collaboration and enthusiasm of the team set the stage for a remarkable event.

“Everyone got very excited, and that’s how we got started,” Amelia says.

The picturesque location of Santa Terra played a pivotal role in shaping the theme of the shoot. Inspired by the vibrant surroundings, Amelia envisioned a colorful and lively atmosphere. The team embraced the venue’s oasis-like quality, incorporating a palette of vibrant oranges and pinks from the flowers, complemented by modern furniture and citrus fruits.

“The location was the perfect canvas, as it is an oasis with so many excellent photo spots,” Amelia remarked.

The ceremony took place on the terrace of the Vineyard at Santa Terra, featuring an organic structure that seamlessly blended with the theme. Elegant and modern chairs, along with clay pots filled with flowers, adorned the aisle. The welcome sign, adorned with citrus decor, tied together the entire design, creating a cohesive and visually stunning ceremony space.

The reception unfolded at the brand-new venue, La Barca, with its unique boat decor. Tables were arranged around a tree for a “Head Table,” while others featured clean and modern rentals. Florals stole the spotlight, with vibrant colors and citrus fruits creating a captivating visual experience. The Moroccan structure of the venue served as a backdrop for the sweetheart table, adorned with a unique floral arrangement. The dancefloor featured natural lanterns and greenery, harmonizing with the venue’s trees.

A synergy of talents and creativity defined the collaboration among the vendors. The team, comprising the best wedding professionals in La Baja, worked tirelessly to bring the vision to life. The result was a seamless fusion of each vendor’s expertise, culminating in a day of building, creativity, and joy.

“It was a long day, but we had so much fun and were so pleased with the result,” says Amelia.

The shoot, which recreated an entire wedding day, held special moments for each member of the team. A particularly cherished moment was the cake cutting, where photographer Fabi Rosas realized her dream of tasting the wedding cake with the couple. Laughter and camaraderie filled the air, creating a memorable experience for all involved.

“My favorite part was the cake cutting…Fabi the photographer made her dream come true,” Amelia mentioned.
