Located just an hour outside of London is the storied Hedsor House, boasting traditional architecture and expansive grounds. This setting provided the ideal look and feel for a styled wedding photoshoot inspired by the Victorian era.
From the creative minds behind Britt Jones Co. and the artful camera angles of Jayce Keil, a harmony of purples and pinks gave a sense of royal ambiance to the small corner of the English countryside.
“My favorite part was witnessing how the natural beauty of the surroundings seamlessly intertwined with the regal theme, creating a captivating atmosphere for the entire event,” Jayce says.
A stationery suite consisting of magenta envelopes and white, rough-edged cards with custom calligraphy and a logo invited guests to celebrate a glorious union across the pond.
The bride dawned a high-neck gown by Anne Barge featuring floral applicate and a corset featuring exposed boning. In contrast, the groom sported a plum tuxedo jacket with black slacks and a bow tie by The Black Tux.
White chairs with lilac cushions lined up in twos on either side of the aisle beckoned patrons to take their seats and observe the inception of the couple’s newest chapter of life. The black and white tile pathway framed by vibrant purple florals led to the Hedsor House great room’s focal point, a fireplace with an antique, cream mantle.
Transitioning to the exterior grounds of Hedsor House, regal dining aesthetics exhibited in shows like Netflix’s Bridgerton and The Crown informed the reception style. The gloomy weather typical of England’s green rolling hills actually gave the setup a stage to shine against. Hand-painted floral chargers rimmed with gold were accented by the surrounding gold cutlery, candle holders, and glass goblets. The flower arrangements, yet again, stole the show while nearby candles set the tone of elegance and luxury.
“The opportunity to capture moments against such a stunning and timeless backdrop as Hedsor House was truly a highlight of the entire shoot,” Jayce says.
