For residents of Warsaw, Poland, Karolina and Lucjan, a dream wedding entailed the same elements one might recognize from a classic fairytale (palace included). With some hard planning work and the help of professional photographer Paulina of Pietraszkiewicz Love Photography, the couple tied the knot and captured it in perfect fashion. We spoke with Paulina to get her take on the couple’s storybook day!
“Delicate flowers, lots of space and light, bright bedding, and minimalist decor: these elegant and classic items will never go out of style. And if you are a bride who puts timelessness above trends, I suggest you stay here for a while and take in the elegance of Karolina and Lucjan’s wedding at the Wierzbiczany Palace.
The couple calls Warsaw ‘ home’, but they decided to take their celebration away from the city to create magic in the vicinity of Toruń. In Torún, time moves slower, and the roar of the city is replaced by greenery and nature.
The couple decided to have a smaller celebration so that each guest could have a room in the palace, get comfortable and have no need to rush anywhere. Karolina and Lucjan focused on incorporating elements of classic, elegant, luxury and timeless. They envisioned an event that would always be pleasing to the eye – regardless of the passing fashions. In fact, the beautiful couple is just like that – full of harmony and classics!
Karolina and Lucjan have minimalist souls with a touch of elegance, which is why they gathered their family in a palace full of bright colors and exceptionally well-chosen details.
The dances started with the classic ‘At Last’ by Etta James, while love filled the air and the hearts of guests!”
