Allison and Harrison’s wedding celebrated the charm of the Texas Hill Country with abundant pastels and show stopping floral designs. Held on a serene thirty-two acres, the Ma Maison wedding venue offered classic charm.
“We’ve always had a special place in our hearts for the Texas Hill Country,” Allison says. “Our friends and family are scattered across the country, so we thought it would be a perfect place to host them and show them how beautiful Texas is!”
Since Allison had spent many summers in the hill country at camp, and the couple visited the Austin area often, she had a certain familiarity that led her to Dripping Springs.
“While there are a ton of beautiful venues out there, Ma Maison has a very different vibe from most venues in the area – not too rustic and with a great flow to the space,” the bride says.
Allison and Harrison then got to work hiring vendors who could carry out their vision of a storybook-like design. The color story focused on pinks, peaches, and light blues, where pastel moments worked in tandem with their custom-designed logo.
“We ended up bringing in a mix of Austin and Houston vendors to get the vibe we wanted,” the couple says.
They choose well because when the day of the wedding finally arrived, everything couldn’t have been more perfect. Allison and Harrison shared a first look in the hall beneath a storybook-esque display of flowers, which cascaded along the venue’s main stairwell.
They said their “I do’s” outdoors in the grove beneath a canopy of oak trees. A show-stopping ceremony arch added brightness and warmth with ivory and blush florals.
Allison wore a flowy ball gown with organic leaf applique that was paired with a sleeved mesh topper. After the ceremony, guests relaxed in the company of mini donkeys, who carried saddle bags of refreshments as they happily grazed on the lawn.
The reception moved indoors in a sea of florals, with accents of pink glassware and blue and white china. The color story focused on pinks, peaches, and light blues, where pastel moments worked in tandem with their custom-designed logo. This detail marked invitation suites and the bar, as well as the martini station’s ice sculpture.
Allison and Harrison’s first dance was shared beneath an extravagant, limitless floral chandelier.
After a magical day in the Texas Hill Country, the couple couldn’t imagine doing it without their stellar planning team.
“We had a PHENOMENAL wedding planner at Belle Events who was such an incredible partner in the whole wedding planning process,” the bride says.
