Destination I Do Magazine recently partnered with Toluna QuickSurveys to determine how you’re planning your wedding, who is paying for it and how many of you are actually doing destination weddings. The results were fascinating! Below is an infographic to snaz up the findings. We’d love to hear from you on how your wedding plans are happening. Leave a comment below and tell us how your answers may differ. If you would like to get a free subscription to the magazine, go on to our Instagram, Facebook or Pinterest pages, like us and/or follow us and leave a comment using #DIDsurveysays.

Some of the stats that didn’t make it onto the infographic include:

  • 27% of couples are planning destination weddings
  • Facebook is the most used social media platform at 82% and Instagram is in second place with 51%
  • 55% of couples found their vendors through word-of-mouth and 38% found them through magazine ads

Quicksurveys.com August 2016 survey in collaboration with Destination I Do magazine was run with SmartSelect. “SmartSelect relies on statistical matching rather than probability sampling and selects respondents based on demographic, attitudinal and behavior characteristics that match those of the target population,” says Toluna.
