Grab your fruity cocktail or iced coffee and settle in, because Tiffany and Sami’s destination wedding at Hotel Villa Caletas is giving ALL the tropical, romantic wedding inspiration. Ocean views, jungle magic, Taylor Swift and Mac Miller music, and a whole lot of love floated around Jaco, Costa Rica.

Tiffany tells us, “We wanted to do a destination wedding because the first time we came to Costa Rica was on our first trip together as a couple. As that trip was wrapping up, we decided we were going to get married there. How could we not? It was instantly our favorite place.” Ugh, can you even? That kind of full-circle love story deserves a setting as epic as Hotel Villa Caletas in Jacó.

Perched above the ocean with insane jungle-meets-sea views, it’s the type of place you see on TikTok and think, “Can you actually get married there?” Well, yes, Tiffany and Sami sure did! “[Our wedding planner,] Meghan, sent us a detailed list of venues to choose from, but this one in particular caught our eye because of how unique the rooms and architecture were,” Tiffany explains. “I wanted our guests to feel like they were getting a unique jungle experience.”

Tiffany opted not to stress herself out with endless DIY projects. She had Meghan and the other pros at Mil Besos take her Pinterest board and turn it into a real-life fairytale. “I wanted to enjoy wedding planning and not be stressed out about it, and Mil Besos made this possible. Without them, I’m not sure I could’ve pulled it off,” Tiffany admits.

Come time for the ceremony, the sun beamed as guests gazed out over the jungle and ocean. The groom and wedding party entered to the piano version of Mac Miller’s song 2009. As guests rose from their seats, Tiffany ambled down the aisle with her dad to Taylor Swift’s You Are in Love (acoustic). Does it GET any more personal and cool? Tiffany says, “Our ceremony was short and sweet, but it was beautiful… it was everything we had imagined and very ‘us.’”

And honestly, the decision to go destination was a genius one. Back home, they probably would’ve had a massive one-day wedding that flew by in a blink. Instead, they had a whole week of fun with their favorite humans. Tiffany said it best: “If we were going to spend money on a wedding, we wanted it to be ‘worth it.’ I also loved the intimacy of our 40-person wedding. There was no pressure, only fun moments I’ll never forget! A year later, and our guests are still talking about it.”
