Looking for a wedding that’s equal parts stunning scenery, relaxed vibes, and pure love? Look no further than Liza and Matthew destination wedding in Tamarindo, Costa Rica!

Their “Pura Vida” (pure life) philosophy shines through every detail of this delightful celebration. From the venue selection to incorporating local traditions, Liza and Matt created a Tamarindo destination wedding weekend that was both intimate and unforgettable.

Finding Forever in Tamarindo:

Tamarindo wasn’t just a random pick for Liza. “I fell in love with the town” she gushes, “We knew we wanted a small wedding with immediate family and close friends, and Casa Puro Dieces was perfect!” This stunning location offered breathtaking views, on-site accommodations, and a relaxed atmosphere – ideal for their dream wedding.

A collage of wedding moments: A boy in a suit and sunglasses walks down the aisle with a couple, an emotional hug between the bride and two older individuals, the groom waiting at the altar, and guests smiling during the ceremony with an ocean view backdrop.

Stress-Free Destination Wedding Planning:

Planning a wedding can be daunting, but a destination wedding adds another layer of complexity. Liza admits, “I was worried about travel logistics!” Thankfully, Mil Besos swooped in, taking care of everything from airport shuttles to excursions. Their advice? “Hire a wedding planner!” Liza exclaims, “They made the day run smoothly, and we couldn’t have done it without them!”

Budgeting Bliss:

Destination weddings can come with a hefty price tag. Liza and Matt’s secret? Sticking to their budget! “There were times we wanted more,” Liza admits, “but we compromised and planned well in advance.” Their focus? Family. Liza’s brother officiated, their son and nieces were part of the ceremony, and Matt’s family played a special role too.

A three-part collage captures a beach wedding. The top image shows the couple celebrating with raised hands at the altar. The middle image displays a colorful, elegant table setting with floral arrangements. The bottom image portrays the couple playing with a young child by the water.

Local Flavor, Big Fun:

Liza and Matt embraced Costa Rican culture. “The entire vibe was Pura Vida!” They hired local vendors, and Liza emphasizes the importance of communication and patience – “understanding time differences and cultural barriers is key!”

Creating a Welcoming Atmosphere:

The “U” shaped reception tables at Casa Puro Dieces ensured everyone felt included. “You could see everyone from wherever you were seated,” Liza shares. This thoughtful touch added to the intimate feel of the celebration.

Pura Vida Wedding Wisdom:

Looking back, Liza wouldn’t change a thing. Her advice for other couples? “Stay true to yourselves, ask for help, and remember, things happen for a reason!”

So there you have it! Liza and Matt’s Pura Vida wedding is a testament to the power of love, family, and a little bit of Costa Rican magic. Feeling inspired? Grab your sweetheart, pack your bags, and start planning your own unforgettable destination wedding!
