For the reception, there will also be reduced seating capacity. Rather than tables set for eight people, the same size tables will only seat six. They have also eliminated buffets and specialty food stations, to reduce the risk of cross-contamination from guests. Plated dinners will be served, and all hors d’oeuvres will be passed by Sandals staff. In addition, all personnel will be wearing face masks and gloves for your protection and theirs.

Overall, Sandals advanced hygiene practices span across 18 key touchpoints. The Triple-Check System includes inspecting, cleaning, and sanitizing hard surfaces in common areas every 20-minutes plus auto-dispensing hand sanitizing stations, use of hospital-grade disinfectants, instituting electrostatic sprayers and UV-LED lighting equipment for inspections. They are even steam-cleaning and sanitizing carpeting and flooring prior to arrivals. All staff are required to wear protective face gear at all times and guests can check-in online at home, bypassing the front desk, to go directly to their room.
