Bridal Gowns Bringing Back Old Times

It looks like nostalgia is the new black. From shows like ‘Stranger Things’, and reboots of classics like ‘Veronica Mars’, ‘Queer Eye, ‘Will & Grace’ all the way down to the reemergence of 70’s, 80’s and 90’s fashion trends – one thing is clear, nostalgia is hitting us all full force and this year, brides are feeling sentimental.

Brides are bringing the nostalgia factor to their special day in the shape of big puffy, full-skirt, tulle gowns – reminiscent of the princess dresses they once wore as children, truly living their fairytale dreams. However, these dresses are anything but traditional. With designers incorporating new and modern shapes, materials, and silhouettes – brides have a plethora of ballet-inspired princess gowns to choose from that will scream nostalgic, without seeming tired and boring.

Below are just some of the many trending wedding dress styles that are as beautiful and enchanting as they are reminiscent of childhood dreams.

1. BERTA – Spring/Summer 2020

2. RITA VINIERIS – RIVINI Spring 2020

3. Daalarna Couture – REBELLE Collection

4. TARIK EDIZ – 2020 White
