Villa Cetinale, nestled in the colorful region of Tuscany, made for the perfect intimate setting for this styled wedding shoot. With its dreamy architecture and perfectly manicured gardens, Villa Cetinale acted as a canvas for all of the vendors to paint a dreamy celebration. Read our interview with the photography and videography team below for more insight into this beautiful day!
Q: How did this styled shoot first get started?
A: “Amanda and her team at AMV Weddings set out to create a dreamy, never-before-seen editorial at the most beautiful Tuscan villa, Villa Cetinale. Her designs came together flawlessly, with the help of talented vendors and passionate individuals.”
Q: What was the inspiration for the theme/style of the shoot? How did the location of the shoot influence it?
A: “The inspiration behind this shoot is Tuscany’s uncanny ability to draw out a couple’s romantic love. The playful textures and color palette of various pinks displayed elements of AMV Wedding’s vision throughout the perfectly manicured gardens of Villa Cetinale. The venue, with its structured arches, old-world architecture, and immaculate lawns combine all of the most elegant aspects of Tuscany in one place. Cetinale’s gardens are famous for being the most beautiful in all of Italy. Naturally, it was the perfect place to display Bianca and Francesco’s everlasting love. Instead of transforming a venue to showcase their affection, Amanda and her team heightened all of the natural beauty Cetinale already offers through their use of Flowers Living’s extravagant florals and Preluddio Noleggio’s gorgeous furniture rentals. They truly brought the ambiance to life.”
Q: Tell us about the ceremony look. What elements were included and why?
A: “The ceremony featured a walkway of pastel florals leading up to massive stone planters, dripping in pinks and creams. The shape of the ceremony was directed by a row of Italian Cypresses, leading our gazes up to Scala Santa, the two hundred steps at the foot of the Romitorio. Madeline Eleanor created a natural makeup look, complete with a soft pink lip and light blush. She chose a tight low bun, resting at the nape of Bianca’s neck. This showcased Bianca’s Megan Therese Couture earrings, which tied the romantic theme into her ceremony look. Bianca wore a stunning Amsale gown with off-the-shoulder straps and exquisite tulle detailing. The dress captured the world of fashion, art, and old-world Italy into her modern fairytale wedding. Francesco wore a classic black tux from Bucco Couture, timeless and tailored. His look was sharp, distinct, and complimented his bride.”
Q: How did the team of vendors work together?
A: “The team of vendors worked together flawlessly. Everyone’s understanding of Bianca and Francesco’s Tuscan romance allowed them to dream up artistic representations of true love and display them for effortless captures. From Inquisited’s stationery art, fit for a museum, to Bianca’s Victor Barbone engagement ring, no detail was missed.”
Q: What was your favorite part of the shoot and why?
A: “Flowers Living’s immaculate floral arrangements were the true showstoppers of this inspiration wedding. Their creations were by far our favorite aspect of the shoot. Every installation highlighted the decor, fashion, and design of the day in its own way. For the ceremony, florals lined the seating, leading up to bountiful botanicals that framed Francesco and Bianca as they shared their vows.”
