There is nothing more romantic than returning to the place you fell in love to unite in marriage. Jessica and Chris first met on a group vacation to San Jose Del Cabo and knew immediately that it would be there that they would join in marriage.
A destination wedding was an obvious choice for the couple, as family and friends being spread out across the United States meant that the majority of their guest list would be traveling no matter what. In an effort to have the perfect wedding not only for them but for their guests as well, the couple chose the beautiful beaches of San Jose Del Cabo.
“We decided upon a place incredibly special to us, that we knew our loved ones would also be excited about,” the bride says. “A wedding for us, a vacation for them!”
And a vacation to remember it was, as the ceremony was held only weeks before the COVID-19 pandemic sent the world into a quarantine. The couple’s moment of love became a fond memory and adventure to remember before the chaos that would become the year 2020.
“We are so grateful that we had that precious time with family in the nick of time,” the bride says.
In a ceremony beneath an arch of tropical greenery and soft pink and white flowers, the couple read their vows to the natural music of soft rolling waves. Guests and the couple then dined and danced under the stars to the sound of a cellist and violinist playing nearby.
The guests and couple alike spent their days outside of the wedding day with constant activities and fun to keep the experience alive.
“We hosted lively parties and provided all-day fun to make sure that all of our guests felt relaxed and appreciated,” the bride says.
Through shared adventures and continuous love-filled celebrations, the couple had a dreamy wedding trip to a destination chosen with heart.
“For us, Cabo was a symbol of how we met and the paradise we wanted to create for one another,” the bride says. “Let your love guide your destination, however near or far that venue may be, it should represent your unique journey.”
