French Provincial Meets South Florida

Along Florida’s Gold Coast sits Eau Palm Beach Resort & Spa, an award-winning Palm Beach resort that exudes a French Provincial meets sunny South Florida style. This stunning shoot was inspired by the destination’s natural beauty and the modern-day desire for a wedding that is close to home but feels worlds away. With its French-inspired architecture and oceanfront backdrop, Eau is a natural setting for an alfresco European-style soiree that is feminine and artisanal.

The shoot, styled by Tasha Bracken Events, incorporates the elements and feel of a more significant celebration but into a smaller design for an intimate gathering. Photographer Jessica Bordner and cinematographer, Key Moment Films, captured the exceptionally gorgeous day and all of the soft, romantic details inspired by Eau’s French influences. The bride wore a stunning Monique Lhuillier gown from Chic Parisian, which featured a gorgeous bodice with intricate applique detail that complemented the light breeze and movement of the ocean. Her bridal look was a blend of romantic and traditional beauty, with Jeanette from FaceTime Beauty creating a soft romantic makeup and modern updo. The groom’s attire was a nod to an old-world European feel with a white tux jacket paired with black suit pants and a bow tie from Tux Shop of Palm Beach.

The ceremony was hosted in one of the resort’s many lawns off-set by the sea in a light and airy yet meaningful setting. Xquisite Events created lush floral displays, including an arch framing two palm trees and the Atlantic Ocean, coverage in roses of soft hues. For guests, private seating sections were designed with furniture from Elements and Accents and a glass of Perrier Jouet champagne welcomed their arrival.

Eau’s magnificent Spa Garden was the perfect backdrop for a private outdoor reception. The design was centered around more dramatic florals infused with greenery to evoke an aesthetic of relaxed beauty. Perhaps the pièce de resistance of the day was the gorgeous, intimate guest seating surrounded by a light waterfall and literally placed in a tranquil splash of water across the cobble stone to create an ethereal celebration. All of the touches, from the paper for the stationery and calligraphy by Michelle Banks of Calligraphy by Michelle to the romantic table linens and dainty flatware, reflect femininity and handcrafted luxury. Janderyn Makris of Earth and Sugar created the cake to incorporate florals while remaining petite. The styled reception is an example of the opportunity offered by intimate events to include more personal elements and experiences not generally allowed by a larger-scale celebration.
