In the hidden valleys of the Allegheny mountains among a rolling blanket of oaks and pines lies a resort unparalleled in history and amenities. America’s oldest resort, The Omni Homestead Resort in Hot Springs, VA creates the perfect backdrop for tying the knot in nature.

Driving the quaint roads to the resort doesn’t even begin to predict the beauty that awaits you at The Homestead. As you get closer, you see The OMNI Homestead at the heart of the valley in its iconic clock tower and red brick colonial architecture. Constructed in 1766, the deep-rooted history of the resort is honored through its architecture and beautiful decor.

As you pass the patio with its firepits and rocking chairs, the Great Hall has all the markings of elegance and charm. With its Corinthian beams and pillars, and beautiful furnishings, the Great Hall serves as the perfect ingress to a first-rate experience for you and your guests. In 2023, the property was given an overhaul of its 483 guest rooms and corridors for a color palette that is all parts tranquil, welcoming, and modern.

When it comes to deciding where to have your celebration, the OMNI Homestead is ready to curate the perfect look for your Big Day. With 28 meeting and event spaces, finding the right venues for your festivities will be a breeze. Each room exudes its own look and personality ranging from quintessential colonial to refined elegance.

The Shooting Club Pavilion has a perfect rustic feel with exposed wood beams, open concept and panoramic views of the Allegheny Mountains.

The Crystal Room offers a stunning, brightly lit room with Corinthian pillars and crystal chandeliers. Perfect for any welcome party or day-after brunch.

The Commonwealth Room is an elegant event space with hand-painted murals depicting the history behind Mt. Vernon and Colonial Williamsburg. It also features a sunken square center space, ideal for reception tables or a dancefloor.

The Grand Ballroom, the largest of the event spaces, boasts modern lighting and textured wallcoverings.

The Old Course Pavilion: The indoor/outdoor pavilion serves as the perfect spot to say ‘I Do’. With sweeping vistas and a stunning view from the hill overlooking the tower and East/West wings, not only is it pleasing to the eye, it will give your guests an event to remember.

Whether you want to have a welcome meal with guests or a celebratory drink, the site does not shy away from being the ultimate one-stop destination. Ranging from grab-and-go bites to top-quality restaurants, the OMNI Homestead has a range of eateries to tickle the palate.

For breakfast, round up your guests for a breakfast in the Audubon Room where you may also indulge in a High Tea. The high ceilings and original works by the world-renowned naturalist John James Audobon are sure to please. Jefferson’s Restaurant and Jefferson’s Taproom both provide two sides of the same coin with carefully curated American fare. While Jefferson’s Restaurant offers a more refined decor, Jefferson’s Taproom gives a more casual vibe.

Should your guests have a need to shop, the hall of boutiques has a little bit of everything. Keep the kiddos entertained with toys from the Hobby Horse. Heading out for a hike? Check our Allegheny Outfitters for outdoor essentials. Did a guest forget something to wear for the wedding? With a wide variety of boutique dresses and Lily Pulitzer available to brighten up your wardrobe, The First Lady has you covered.

Having the best time at the resort can be exhausting! Never fear, the Spa at the OMNI provides the upper echelons of relaxation. Choose from various services, lounge by the pool, or take in the natural mineral spring. If a deeper soak is needed to calm your newly strengthened dancing feet, for an additional fee a shuttle can provide a ride to one of the most famous hot springs on the East Coast. Bubbling straight up from the ground, the sulfur, calcium, and magnesium leave your skin feeling delectably soft.

Celebrate at the OMNI Homestead, where there is no shortage of magic, nature, and history.
