Wedding dress shopping is supposed to be magical. But for many newly engaged brides today, it feels more like information overload. Endless scrolling. Thousands of nearly identical white dresses. Conflicting advice from social media and forums. And the growing pressure to “just decide already.”

That overwhelm is exactly what inspired My Bria, a recently launched, new free AI bridal assistant from Dressit. Created by former bridal boutique owner Becca Wenning, My Bria is designed to help brides cut through the chaos and discover independent wedding dress designers based on something deeper than filters: their vibe, values, and how they want to feel on their wedding day.

Think Pinterest meets ChatGPT, built specifically for brides.

A laptop displays the MyBria AI bridal shopping website, with text promoting it as an AI co-pilot for brides to shop with intention. Website link "mybria.ai" is shown.

Why Wedding Dress Shopping Started Feeling So Hard

Before founding Dressit and launching My Bria, Becca spent years inside bridal boutiques, working directly with brides during one of the most emotional shopping experiences of their lives. Over time, she noticed a shift, and it was not a positive one.

“Bridal shopping isn’t just shopping, it’s deeply personal, emotional, and often overwhelming. And somewhere along the way, that experience broke,” she explains. “Shopping became confusing and chaotic, with brides facing so many options that they leave appointments without confidence. Decision paralysis is real, and it’s costing brides the joy this process should bring.”

Many brides now arrive at boutiques after months of online scrolling or impulse-buying a dress that doesn’t fit, doesn’t feel right, or doesn’t align with their vision; often with a tight timeline and rising anxiety.

“I knew there had to be a better way,” Becca says.

Enter My Bria: A Bridal Co-Pilot, Not Just Another Quiz

My Bria doesn’t try to show brides more dresses. Instead, it helps them understand themselves first.

At the heart of the platform is Bridal DNA, a personalized assessment that matches brides with designers based on emotional cues, personal style, energy, and overall aesthetic, not just silhouettes or trend filters.

“Traditional quizzes ask, ‘What do you like?’ Bridal DNA asks, ‘Who are you, and how do you want to feel?’” Becca explains.

Using this insight, My Bria curates a shortlist of independent designers whose collections and philosophies align with each bride’s unique vision. Brides can also chat with Bria, the AI bridal co-pilot, to ask questions, understand timelines, and learn how to shop with confidence and intention.

The goal? Replace endless scrolling with clarity.

“We give brides clarity and confidence in their choices and create confident, prepared brides who arrive at boutique appointments already knowing their aesthetic and which designers speak to them,” Becca says.

Supporting Independent Designers and Boutiques, Not Replacing Them

Despite being AI-powered, My Bria isn’t trying to replace stylists, boutiques, or the emotional moments that make dress shopping special.

“The future of AI isn’t removing humans, it’s teaching people how to connect more intentionally,” Becca shares.

My Bria is designed to close the gap between what inspires a bride online and what she experiences inside a bridal boutique, helping her arrive informed, confident, and ready to say “yes to the dress” when it feels right.

It also supports independent designers by surfacing early demand intelligence, such as where brides are located, what styles are resonating, and how ready they are to book appointments; insights that can help designers and boutiques build stronger, more intentional connections.

Especially Helpful for Destination Brides

For destination brides who may be planning a wedding in one location, living in another, and shopping in a third, this kind of guidance can be a game-changer.

Instead of stacking appointments, panic-buying online, or feeling pressured to compare endlessly, My Bria helps brides slow down, define what matters, and shop with purpose, something boutique owners truly value.

It’s a quieter, more thoughtful way to begin the dress journey, one that respects the time, energy, and emotion on both sides of the fitting room.

A Smarter Starting Point for Modern Brides

My Bria is launching in early access, inviting brides to be part of building what Becca calls the bridal industry’s first true shopping co-pilot. Every question asked and preference shared helps shape a smarter, more intuitive experience for the brides who follow.

For brides who want less noise, fewer regrets, and more confidence, and for designers and boutiques who believe wedding dress shopping should still feel personal, My Bria offers a refreshing reset.

Because finding the dress shouldn’t start with stress. It should start with excitement.
