“Jardin En Bloom,” the vision and inspiration behind this Atlanta editorial, offered a testament to the enduring allure of love, the splendor of nature, and the indelible magic that can be found in the most exquisite of settings.
From barely pink to vibrant fuchsia, florals in all shades of pink came together flawlessly to create the spring romance that was achieved in this editorial. Touches of gold accented the design and popped against the neutral linens and natural backdrop.
The brainchild of the planning and design team at Wrennwood Design, “Jardin En Bloom” was part of a larger editorial and educational workshop. Amberly, from Wrennwood Design, shared insights into how the shoot came to life, emphasizing the collaborative effort that brought together photographers, planners, florists, and more.
“The initiative to organize this shoot came from the workshop itself, which was a well-known platform for creative professionals to come together and learn from some great leaders in our industry,” explained Amberly.
This editorial took place in the heart of Atlanta, amidst the blooming gardens of a historic location. Swan House, with its neoclassical architecture and stately grandeur, served as the perfect backdrop for this romantic editorial. Its majestic columns and pristine white facade stood tall against a lush green landscape, creating an atmosphere that was both regal and inviting.
“Although in Atlanta, at times I felt like I was swept away and shooting a wedding at a chateau in France!” photographer, Allison from Kismet Visuals & Co. says.
The bride wore an ethereal gown provided by Clair de Lune with white roses and leaves sewn overtop. The groom’s ivory jacket and bow tie from The Modern Gent added to the light and airy vibe with dark pants to contrast.
This secluded Atlanta oasis, adorned with vibrant flowers and delicate foliage, provides an intimate setting for the exchanging of vows. A floral pergola floating in a beautiful water feature was crafted with cascading garden roses in the most vibrant hues of pink.
“The inspiration was to create an intimate setting where the exchange of vows could take place amidst the splendor of nature,” the planner says.
Reception tables adorned with soft blue linens added to the feminine romance while vases filled with lush floral arrangements acted as centerpieces. Each place setting was meticulously arranged with vintage-inspired china and jewel-toned cutlery, evoking a sense of old-world charm and grace.
For recreating this look, remember that it’s all about texture! With such a pretty setting, less is more when it comes to the design.
