Anusha and Pranav have always been happiest with passports in hand and a new adventure on the horizon, so when it came time to say “I do,” they wanted to lean into their shared sense of wanderlust. The Athens Riviera, with its dramatic cliffside views and endless blue waters, stole the couple’s hearts and imaginations.

Discovering the ideal venue started with a pin drop on a map along the Athens Riviera. After scrolling for what seemed like an eternity, Anusha finally stumbled upon the kind of gem she’d hoped to find: the Four Seasons Astir Palace.
“We knew instantly this was it,” the bride tells us, “but bringing our vision to life from thousands of miles away? That’s where Radhika came in.”

Radhika of Radhika & You helped the adventurous couple translate their spark of inspiration into something tangible. “From our very first conversation, she understood exactly what we wanted,” Anusha shares.
Anusha’s ideas for the design started at the ceremony, a dramatic mandap draped entirely in fresh roses, cascading from pink to blush in the most romantic ombré. Then, the celebration would transition effortlessly from day to night. Together, the couple pictured a sophisticated black-and-white palette with luxe gold detailing.

“Watching these visions come to life was surreal,” Anusha says.
And come together, they did. The welcome party took place at the picturesque Island Resort, set on a dramatic cliffside overlooking the azure Aegean Sea. Anusha stunned in a Manish Malhotra lehenga, and Pranav rocked a design by Rohit Bal. As tropical cocktails set the tone for the weekend, family and friends who’d flown from across the globe to celebrate also enjoyed a candlelit dinner by the water, featuring fresh seafood and authentic Greek cuisine.

The following day brought an unforgettable baraat at the renowned Four Seasons Astir Palace, where the groom made a show-stopping entrance, arriving by boat along the water. The traditional Hindu ceremony took place under the bride’s fully realized blush pink ombré mandap. As the couple exchanged their vows, their coastal setting created a dreamy atmosphere.
“Our ceremony was rooted in the beautiful Hindu traditions that have been passed down through generations,” Anusha says. “We flew in our family priest all the way from Chicago because having him there to guide us through each sacred ritual meant everything.”

Honoring the destination was just as important as honoring their roots. “We wanted to honor the beautiful Greek tradition of koufeta throughout our celebration; those sugar-coated almonds that symbolize the bitter and sweet moments of marriage,” Pranav says. “From our ceremony to the reception, we wove this meaningful tradition into every detail, blending our cultures in the most special way.”
Following the ceremony, guests gathered on the terrace overlooking the Aegean Sea for an open-air cocktail hour, complete with violinists and fresh Greek bites that fully embraced the coastal setting. As the sun set, the celebration transformed once again, this time into an elegant black-and-white reception that felt both glamorous and timeless.

Looking back, Anusha and Pranav are candid about what they learned along the way.
“Planning a wedding is no small feat; there were moments it felt overwhelming, like we’d never get to the finish line,” they admit. “But setting clear timelines from the start and keeping open communication with all our vendors made everything flow so much more smoothly.”
And then, the payoff. “When you’re in the thick of it, it feels like so much. But the moment you see it all come to life, every detail, every decision, every late-night conversation, it hits you,” they say. “It was all so worth it. Every single bit.”
