After all of their wedding photos were lost, Alexander and Anastasia did something that surprised everyone.
“Our wedding was at November 2014, but all wedding photos were lost. So, we decided to restore our wedding photos,” the bride says.
The couple had the chance to remake their wedding and live out their fantasies that were out of reach for them years back. They had considered having a destination wedding, but decided against it at the time. So, their wedding renewal fulfilled their wildest dream to say “I do” in the breathtaking mountains of Norway.
Their decision to have a second wedding wasn’t just for them, but the entire family. The two prepared photo books for everyone to get a second glimpse of the love they shared with a gorgeous backdrop.
Alexander and Anastasia relied on their planner, Nailia Yermakova, to help them navigate their way to the perfect renewal ceremony in a country neither of them had ever visited.
Among the vast wilderness of Norway, the couple shared an intimate picnic and glass of wine. All elements were inspired by Pinterest, and with it just being the two of them, they didn’t have to break the bank.
Anastasia says she was actually thankful that they were able to turn a difficult situation into a fulfilled dream.
“Don’t afraid to separate the wedding photo shoot and the ‘other’ wedding,” the bride says.
At the end of the day, the couple learned a valuable lesson: a second wedding is the perfect way to spend time with everyone first and then save up for the perfect destination wedding for two in incredible place.
