Many couples dream of wedding halls filled to the brim with guests, but Jason and Errin’s vision was something more intimate. In the end, their small tropical gathering exceeded all of their expectations and provided an intimate and unforgettable destination wedding experience.

As the planning for their ideal wedding began, there is one thing the couple knew, they wanted it to be somewhere tropical. With their guests in mind, they sought out locations that would be a simple direct flight to paradise.

“We looked at many venues, but when we saw the Rosewood Mayakoba we knew this is where we wanted to get married,” the bride says.

With crystal waves and lush beaches in sight, the entourage took off for an event the bride says was only possible because of the hard work of their wedding planners from Just Moments Events.

The event was everything the couple dreamed of and then some as they said “I do” with the natural soundtrack played by the rolling waves that served as a gorgeous backdrop. A towering altar of greenery and white flowers perfectly framed their first kiss as a married couple.

After the sweet ceremony, the sun began to set and the group enjoyed drinks served in coconut shells and a three course meal beneath a towering gazebo. As the night drew to a close, warm conversation filled the softly lit dance floor and the couple basked in the love of the family and friends closest to them.

With the curtains of their special night drawn, the couple enjoyed the wedding of their dreams and took away a lesson to share for others planning their own special day.

“Remain calm, remember if something isn’t perfect your guests will not even know and don’t forget to enjoy your special day,” the bride says. “Leave the details up to someone else.”
