When love knows no distance, a destination wedding becomes the perfect choice to celebrate the union of two souls. Dadrian and Annie, a couple whose relationship blossomed despite the miles between them, decided to embark on an unforgettable journey to Los Cabos, Mexico, for their wedding day.

Their journey began through a mutual connection, as Dadrian and Annie were introduced to each other by friends. What started as a long-distance relationship quickly evolved into a deep and meaningful bond. When the time came to plan their wedding, they both knew they wanted something extraordinary, something that reflected their love for the beach and ocean.

“Dadrian loves the beach/ocean, and I didn’t want to have a local wedding,” Annie explains. “Once we did our research and met with our lovely coordinator we officially decided the wedding would be destination.”

Annie’s sister played a crucial role in the decision-making process. She recommended an exquisite resort in Mexico that she had recently visited and believed would be the perfect location for their nuptials. Thus, Dreams Los Cabo Suites Golf Resort & Spa, located in the region of Baja California Sur, became the venue that would witness Dadrian and Annie’s love story unfold. The resort’s mesmerizing ambiance and stunning views captivated the couple from the moment they laid eyes on it. It was a place where they could create everlasting memories with their loved ones.

Collaborating closely with Fabiola Landeros from The Main Event Cabo, Annie worked on designing the decor and incorporating special elements into their wedding day. With the guidance of Terry Knox from Two Unique Catering/Event Planning, they added intimate and meaningful details to the overall wedding design. Together, they crafted an ambiance that would enchant every guest.

Planning a wedding from afar can be challenging, but Annie found solace in Yazmin Castro, their dedicated wedding coordinator. Yazmin’s constant communication throughout the planning process put Annie’s worries to rest and allowed her to fully trust in the process and enjoy the ride.

When reflecting on their decision to have a destination wedding, Dadrian and Annie couldn’t help but imagine how different things would have been if they had held the wedding closer to home. One notable difference would have been the absence of a breathtaking surprise for Dadrian. Annie managed to arrange a stunning firework display, a moment that left everyone in awe.

“Also, if the wedding was within the States, I would’ve been extremely involved and probably stressed out as I have a hard time relinquishing tasks,” Annie admits.

As their wedding day arrived, Dadrian and Annie felt an overwhelming sense of joy and fulfillment. With Katrina Kubicina capturing every precious moment behind her camera lens, their love story unfolded in front of friends and family at the resort’s enchanting Gazebo and Cascada Pool Terrace. The ceremony itself was a beautiful blend of tradition and personalization. Dadrian and Annie chose to incorporate the Unity Candle Ceremony, symbolizing the joining of their families from two different states into one big, loving family.

“We also included the ‘Cord of Three Strands’ which symbolized the union of God, husband and wife,” the bride says. “Dadrian and I feel as long as we keep God in the center of our life and marriage anything is possible and we’re unbreakable.”

The couple extends their advice to future brides and grooms planning a destination wedding: do your research, trust your coordinators, and enjoy the journey. It’s a time to embrace the magic of love and create memories that will last a lifetime.
