Ever wanted to channel your inner Cinderella by marrying your Prince Charming in a large castle with a sparkling white ball gown and crown? Adam and Inem did just that. The couple exchanged New York’s luxurious fast-paced lifestyle for a discreet castle in the countryside to unravel the fairytale wedding of their dreams.

“We chose a location that was easy for our guests and that would provide privacy during our special day,” the couple says.

The Oheka Castle’s elegant furnishings, antiques, and magnificent ballroom weren’t the only reasons Adam and Inem’s hearts were sold on the venue, the faulty provided a magical experience that made them feel like the real Cinderella and Prince Charming.

“We toured several venues, but we loved our interactions with the staff at Oheka and wanted to extend those same feelings to our guests,” the couple says.

While princesses have fairy godmothers to guide them through tough times, brides like Inem, have their wedding planners. Karyn LoCicero at Karyn Michael Events played the part of helping Adam and Inem with wedding planning.

“Every week we received new information about the latest regulations and guidelines for wedding events. Karyn was a great partner and helped us stay calm through uncertainty,”  the couple says.

Despite the weekly updates, Adam and Inem didn’t let the stress get to them. The large castle ensured guests would be free to enjoy the various amenities along with the bride and groom.

“One of the benefits of our venue was the ceremony, reception and hotel were all on the estate. We maximized our time with guests and didn’t have to waste time traveling,” the couple says.

Aside from ensuring a smooth stay at the Oheka Castle, Adam and Inem kept the guest experience in mind. The couple wanted their loved ones to feel just as pampered as them.

“We focused on honoring our families to make our guests feel safe and welcomed. We felt that the service provided by the Oheka Castle & Estate staff saved us money,” the couple says.

Couples dreaming of a castle wedding might want to tune in to this piece of advice from Adam and Inem:

“Whether you work with a planner or not, be as organized in your planning as you possibly can, and remain agile. Invest in a day-of coordinator so that you can focus on enjoying your big day with family and friends.”
