There’s a new must-have mobile app and online service for the travel-loving wine connoisseur: CellarPass. This free service enables you to avoid lines and crowds at some of the top wineries across the U.S. while on your destination wedding or honeymoon. You can book a tasting or make a reservation through CellarPass on your computer, mobile device or tablet. As a member of CellarPass, you’ll be treated like a VIP upon arrival at your chosen winery. Whether it be a special bottling with a tasting flight, added chocolates or a special offer.

CellarPass is also a great resource for maximizing your time while in your destination. Read customer reviews of wineries in the area, make a reservation and even get turn-by-turn directions. If you’re more of a let’s-just-wing-it-type traveler, there’s also the “nearby” function which allows iPhone and iPad users to view special offers in your area and then book on the go.
The online and mobile service also just introduced their special “ticket service,” which allows CellarPass members access to special tastings, pairing dinners and other exclusive events. As mentioned before, CellarPass has participating member destinations all across the country, but the greatest density of wineries are in Napa, Sonoma, Mendocino, Central Coast and Livermore.
