Fusion Nclusion is a collective of wedding professionals that specialize in luxury, cultural weddings. The collective was founded by Denise of Denise Lillie Engagements in February 2020 in Northern California and now expands Worldwide. They strive to inspire, educate, and celebrate each other while promoting diversity within the wedding industry. Recently, the collective got together to produce this trendy wedding photoshoot captured by Strotz Photography next to the blue waters of Lake Tahoe.
The editorial includes popular concepts for Indian wedding attire and decor. Pastel lavender and black Lehengas are especially popular with recent Bollywood weddings, so the group of talented vendors leaned into these colors to create an elaborate reception with several outfit changes for the bride.
“Oh, and because it perfectly fits Taylor Swift’s “Lavender Haze” song and video, I refined the name to ‘A Lavender Haze in Tahoe,’” Denise says.
Outfits
Effortlessly elegant in lavender hues and stunning white topaz jewelry by Denise Heffernan Jewelry. The lavender “Violette” gown and bolero and platinum “Alexandra” leather headband by Suzanne Hanley for Atelier Des Modistes are true works of art. The look is made whole with Rosa Mercedes Beauty‘s makeup featuring bold lavender eyeshadow and subtle contour.
With a mesmerizing black sparkle, Siya‘s Lehenga, Chioli, Dupatta and Jewelry ensemble steals the show! The stunning combination of black and shimmer exudes elegance and sophistication.
The “Bubbles” gown by Suzanne Hanley for Atelier Des Modistes is a stunning white and silver creation. It features a unique bubble-inspired design that’s both playful and sophisticated. But the gown isn’t the only thing that makes this look truly unforgettable. The accompanying choker, earrings, and bracelets from Binno Jewels add just the right amount of sparkle and glamour, making this an ensemble that’s sure to turn heads.
Karen Sabag Feather & Tulle Gown paired with the Binno Jewels Earrings and Ring creates a stunningly sophisticated look. The delicate textures of the gown and the exquisite jewelry complement each other perfectly, showcasing a perfect balance of grace and glamour.
Frontier Heritage‘s Lehnga, Chioli & Dupatta Set is complemented by Binno Jewels‘ exquisite accessories. A perfect fusion of traditional and modern styles, this ensemble exudes sophistication.
Decor
The lavender and black color scheme used for the wedding reception inspiration on the “beach” of the Hyatt Regency Lake Tahoe Resort, Spa and Casino brought Bollywood to Northern California in a breathtaking display.
Table florals and bouquets were designed by Ridhi Joshi of Zuri Floral Design, while Melissa Sullivan of Le Bloomerie provided stunning florals for the purple loveseat scene.
Linens from Napa Valley Linens and tabletop pieces from Standard Event Rentals were perfectly complemented by furniture from Red Carpet Events & Design.
Stationery from Cartalia and champagne splits with custom calligraphy courtesy of Hand Lettered by Tiffany added touches of elegance to the decor.
Overall, the shoot was a testament to the collective’s dedication to creating unforgettable luxury and cultural wedding experiences. With its talent, expertise, and passion, Fusion Nclusion is sure to continue inspiring, educating, and celebrating diversity within the wedding industry worldwide.
