Villa Ephrussi de Rothschild is, by no surprise, the star wedding venue of the French Riviera. Its rose-colored exterior and antique furniture, art, and rare porcelain give it an air of elegance that’s exclusively Ephrussi. The property’s nine gardens have been deemed as some of the most remarkable in all of France. Naturally, Amanda of AMV Weddings and AMV Retreats, along with her team, drew in the colors of the villa and charming botanicals into this gorgeous styled shoot’s details.

Darina and Julien’s custom stationery, provided by Laura Elizabeth Patrick, portrayed the villa in fine lines. The details were impeccably styled on a Chasing Stone blush mat with loose floral elements, compliments of the talented florist team at Miss Rose by Perrine, a stunning Victor Barbone ring, and The Curated Trove accessories.

Overlooking the Mediterranean Sea, the couple’s ceremony floral arch, created by Miss Rose by Perrine, was one of our favorite elements of the day. The ground floral arrangements drew our eye to the sea, the arch a window out into the world.

Darina wore a Nesty Odina gown and veil, complete with Megan Therese Couture accessories, while her groom sported a fitted Bucco Couture suit. Madeline Eleanor created a soft look with rosy cheeks and a low bun to keep our bride comfortable under the warm Riviera sun.

For their reception, the couple enjoyed a view of the villa and French garden with a long table from Maison Options rentals, which was perched above the grand singing fountain. With more dreamy florals and pink and white linens from House of Hough, the scene was rich with elevated taste. As the evening came to a close, the two lovebirds cut their cake, baked by Les Délices de Gladys. The three-tiered dessert was dripping in florals and surrounded by two carefully placed arrangements. The design brought the natural beauty of the hazy French Riviera horizon and deep green palm trees into the setup.

When a couple asks what our favorite destination wedding venues are, Villa Ephrussi de Rothschild is at the top of our list. For those couples who love the art of storytelling, who submerge themselves in ambiance, and who consider themselves lovers of aesthetic details, there is no place as special as this French Riviera gem to celebrate their love.
