The Dessy Group is a woman-owned company founded in 1939 by Margot Rosenthal who was a bridal veil and headpiece designer. In the 1950s, Dessy started manufacturing bridal and bridesmaid dresses and today is still family-owned. BUT they are definitely not your mother’s (or grandmother’s) bridesmaid dresses. Not only does Dessy have inclusive sizing from 00-30W, but they also have hundreds of styles, over seventy colors and more than a dozen fabrics to choose from. They even have a virtual showroom so you can shop together making it easy to find the perfect mismatched or matched look for your wedding party.
We’ve scoured the internet to find 10 destination weddings where Dessy was definitely the best supporting act! No matter your destination, you’re bound to find some real bridesmaid inspiration here so keep scrolling. This beautiful bride, Chantel, knew she needed to choose the perfect pink bridesmaid dresses that were light and airy with slits for her summer wedding under the warm (very warm) Tuscan sun. She chose Dessy Whisper Satin dresses that were elegant, playful and comfortable for bridesmaids at this once-in-a-lifetime Italian celebration. With two bridesmaids in Deep V-neck Shirred Skirt Maxi Dress With Convertible Straps, one Cowl-neck A-line Maxi Dress With Adjustable Straps and the other in Tie Shoulder A-line Maxi Dress – Toasted Sugar was the perfect color to compliment the romantic blush and green wedding theme in the Chianti region of Tuscany in a 700-year-old Italian garden filled villa.
